Another 70's sci-fi inspired piece.

A brief stop among the basalt temples scattered around the barren flatland. The sparse topography makes an ideal spaceport for non-VTOL ships that require a large landing area.

Tidbits: The vehicles are rovers seen in 2009's MOON movie. The spaceliner/freighter is actually a heavily tweaked XB-70 Valkyrie, a prototype bomber of the US Air Force during the pre-ICBM cold war years. It's landing gears are from a B-1 bomber, elongated of course.

Very nice!!! The XB-70 looks larger than a normal XB-70.

Thanks! Just a bit eh? Had to upscale the blueprints for the rigors of interstellar space travel. :)

As a spaceship, I think it's better looking than the Millennium Falcon. :D

Right on! Makes me sad I'm not decent enough in 3d to do a mesh for others to enjoy.

Really, think I should pick it up then. Thx, I'd really cherish an original or decent print of his but it's not in the budget right now, someday though.
