Inspired by a 70's sci-fi art book called SpaceWrecks by Stewart Cowley. Went for a fantastic vs. realistic approach. This one is Trek themed with Starfleet enviro suit and Danube class runabout.

That is spectacular!

Its getting the brain into gear, thinking about the dire situation that led to such a fate.

The skeleton in the space suit reminds me of Doctor Who :) Good job this picture.

Ah I got that alot, I learned it was from Silence of the Library with the Vashta Nerada. Guess all interesting visuals have a lineage. Thank you!

it's awesome, sad, great artwork. it does look like a solid earth marble breaking in the sky but that just adds a bit of surrealism. quiet somber death pieces, especially ones so personal, are rare in trek art.

Thanks, you're astute, as it was my feeling exactly, personal somber scenes are too rare in Trek art .
